LA PARTNERS therefore expects those who work for the firm to have good social skills. Right from day one, you will take on responsibility for cases, naturally with the support of experienced colleagues. This also means that client contact is established early on, which we have found to be very positive and beneficial to new colleagues’ development.

Discussion between colleagues is one of the most important tools at our disposal, and in our experience this often results in effective, creative solutions that help cases progress whilst keeping the client’s best interests in focus. Our organisation operates according to the belief that cases should be allocated to the person best suited to handling a particular matter, perhaps because he or she possesses a special skill.

Our practice is run as a true partnership, meaning that profits are shared equally amongst the partners. This prevents the kind of internal competition which sometimes develops as a negative side-effect. We believe that the true partnership model generates a team spirit where everyone makes an equally important contribution to the firm’s success.

We believe it is important to strike a healthy balance between professional and private life. The combination of a stimulating and sometimes demanding job and rewarding leisure-time means that our staff contribute more positively to our organisation in terms of both their skills and social input.

A firm the size of LA PARTNERS offers the opportunity to work on all types of cases falling under the heading of general commercial law. We believe that it is helpful to be able to draw parallels between different areas of law and thus find a route to a solution that might not have been apparent without such a broad legal environment.

Although the lawyers at LA PARTNERS must, essentially, be generalists, we encourage them to develop their special areas of interest and provide the flexibility to allow individuals to choose their own training courses and professional development programmes.

Recruitment

We appoint new lawyers to keep pace with the growth in demand for our services. It is an advantage for those that apply to have had experience as a clerk or some other form of practical legal work, possibly at another law-firm. We require all applicants to be fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages and qualifications other than ‘jur. kand ’(LL.M) could naturally be an advantage.

If you are interested in working for us, please send an application, complete with a list of qualifications and the corresponding certificates to annika.edmen@lapartners.se. If you wish to send your document by post, please address the envelope to Annika Edmén.

If you have any questions concerning employment with us, please contact Annika Edmén.
