Klas Eklund has many years of experience in providing commercial legal advice, having worked for one of Sweden’s leading business law firms, as well as further experience as legal counsel for an international industry group. Klas’ experience covers a wide range of industries including manufacturing, IT and tech.

Klas has extensive experience, and an interest, in assisting clients regarding commercial agreements including product and service agreements, sourcing, agency and distribution agreements, license agreements, cooperation agreements and other agreements central to a commercial operation. He has a good understanding of the needs of different commercial operations and can therefore place his legal advice in a practical and commercial context. With his wide experience of negotiating commercial agreements, Klas is often solicited to draft template agreements and user guides, as well as educate clients in sales and purchasing functions.

He also advises clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and various forms of cooperation such as joint ventures. He is well accustomed with the various phases, challenges and contract types that comprise such projects and assumes the role of project leader. Klas also provides advice in relation to privacy and data security.
